Before conducting hearing test(s), audiologists will perform otoscopy for each client to confirm the condition of the status of client’s ear canal and tympanic membrane. In addition to traditional otoscopy, Care For Hearing Center also provides the service of video otoscopic examination. - Audiologists will first conduct hearing test(s) and the hearing aid selection is based on the client’s budget, preferences and degree of hearing loss
- According to the listening preferences of the client, audiologist would fine tune the hearing aid(s) to optimize the performance of the hearing aid(s)
- Clients could make appointment for hearing aid fine tuning and checkup if needed

- The general life span of hearing aids is 2-3 years. Depending on how the client treats his/her hearing aid, the life span of hearing aid can greatly vary. For example, it is very important to dehumidify the hearing aid every night.
- The local warranty period for hearing aids and assistive listening devices purchased at Care For Hearing Centre is 2 years (Only 1-year local warranty will be provided for Opus 1 hearing aids.) and 1 year respectively.
- In case the hearing aid malfunctioned, client please make appointment and gives the malfunctioned hearing aid to audiologists for basic checking.
- The hearing aid will be sent for repair if needed. During the repair period, Care For Hearing Center can provide hearing aid loan service. The loaner hearing aid may be different from the hearing aid model that clients have. Clients may need to pay deposits for the loaner hearing aid.
