Maintenance

Keep clean
- Wipe your hearing aids regularly with a dry cloth or tissue.
- Remove ear wax regularly from your earmoulds.
- Never use alcohol or sanitizer to clean the surface or internal parts of your hearing aid to prevent any damage
- Please contact Care For Hearing Centre to change the earmould tubing when it becomes hardened or broken

Keep dry
- Open the battery door when you are not using the hearing aids. Keep your hearing aid in the drying device or drying bottle without the battery
- Change the drying capsule per month

Batteries
- Replace the battery when it is drained, avoiding storage of the battery in the battery compartment for long time

Avoid chemicals
- Always remove your hearing aids before applying chemicals, such as aftershave lotion, hairspray and perfume.

Avoid extreme temperatures
- Hearing aids should never be exposed to extreme heat or cold.

Others
- Clients should never remove the program cover to prevent damage of the hearing aids
- Never let the others to wear your hearing aids. Hearing aids are adjusted according to your hearing loss. Letting the other to use your hearing aids may cause irreversible damage to their hearing abilities
